COLLECTION LIQUIDATION --

I am helping a magic friend sell most of his collection, (and I already had a ton of magic I was trying to get listed!) so I am putting his Collection items in this separate eBay store category, and I will probably not be saying too much about the items.  I will give a few good photos, and I will give a quick assessment of the item.  

If you know your magic, you will recognize many items and know they are a great deal here. Or if you don't know the item, you may have to do a bit of online research to find out about it.  Or you can just trust my honest (though quick) assessment of any item -- I always endeavor to tell you the good and the bad of anything I sell.

From 2020, this is potentially one of Tenyo's coolest items -- a closeup version of the classic "light & heavy" chest.    A clear plastic box, large enough to just hold a deck of cards is shown.  It is placed on the table, and encircled with a red string.  The spectator is asked to hand you the box, and when she tries to lift it, it seems stick to the table.  You move her hand away, and easily pick it up.    (This works best when deck of cards is placed into the box, but it is not necessary to have the cards in the box.  You could write on a piece of paper "5 pounds", fold it and put it in the box, apparently creating the extra weight.) to find she cannot lift it 

NOTE: the card deck shown in the 2nd photo is not included, but you knew that already, right?   Use any card deck with the tenyo props

Why did I say this is "potentially" one of Tenyo's coolest items?   Well, because the heaviness is not insurmountable -- if the spectator gives a good tug, the box will lift.  But with careful audience management, you can ask the spectator to hand you the box, she will be surprised to find she cannot lift it with a casual effort.

It also requires a smooth surface -- polished table, kitchen counter, etc.   So best for informal performances with friends.   If you want to perform on a sub-optimal surface for this effect, Tenyo provides a special plastic plate, (shown in photo with ornate center design) that can be used as a portable performing surface.

This is neat, and if you buy it, you will wish (like I do) that it worked more consistently and with stronger adherence to the surface.   But if you are a fan of innovative Tenyo ideas, this is one of them.

I see this selling for prices ranging from $19 to $30   I will sell this one below the low end of that range, becaus eit is in an open package     (open, but in perfect condition)
