A lovely pair of early 20th century arts and crafts brass candlesticks by Glasgow school designer Margaret Gilmour.
An unusual striking design with very effective use of the brass cylindrical form.
Both are individually signed with Margaret Gilmour's monogram.
These candlesticks were chosen by a Glasgow friend of Margaret, and then passed down through the family.
Potentially they could cleaned / polished even finer degree than their present state.
Inspection at point of sale is welcome.
One is very slightly off vertical and only noticed in a certain position, and I am reluctant to attempt to remedy such a minor issue, which may have been the way it was handcrafted.

They stand 29.5 cm tall and the base diameter is 14cm.
