This leather and red velvet interior fitted box is 2 × 2 ¾" is in perfect, virtually unworn, condition retaining its gilded highlights. The interior compartment is approximately 2" x 1/12. The hinge is intact and works perfectly. A rare surviving example of a perishable antique box.
