Correctly functioning coilpacks are crucial for anyone serious about their car's performance. Your old coilpacks will not last forever and eventually almost certainly will fail on all vehicles. A misfire and 'Check Engine' light followed by a diagnostic check will normally reveal a faulty coilpack. Changing coilpacks is a DIY job in most cases.
