A beautiful pair of handmade vintage Liberty of London (1970's or 80's`) curtains. The design is called 'Houghton' and very rare to find. 
Freshly laundered. 
There are many Farrow and Ball colours that are very close and there are a large range of colours to match in. The background is a similar tone to chord but a bit darker and other F & B colours it picks up are Bamoobzle, Preference Red, Inchyra Blue, De Nimes, French Grey and Red Earth. The photos make the fabric look a tad brighter than it is. If you would like a photo against a particular colour just let me know. 

The main face of the fabric is in good condition. Please note that one edge of each curtain is faded and frayed -see photos.
As the linings need replacing or removing (each has a tear and are aged with lots of 'foxing') included in the sale are some ready made linings (designed to hook onto the header tape). The last two photos show the new linings. If you dont want these i can discount the price by £10.

The dimensions above are for EACH curtain in the pair, un-gathered. Below are the measurements in inches and in centimetres. 
When fully pleated they are about half the un pleated with but this is adjustable using the strings in the header tape. 

Width: 72 inches 183cm each curtain in the pair (measured along the hem)
Drop : 72 inches (183cm)

I try to measure accurately but sometimes room for minor error so let me know if more precision needed. 

Postage costs includes insurance for the full amount to cover for any loss or damage in transit. The insurance costs are often greater than the actual postage costs. Collection in person is always welcome.

Buying second hand or vintage curtains means that there may be some small/superficial marks but once hung no one will notice. If I find anything major I will point it out in the listing and provide one or more pictures of the 'issues'.

FABIC : The fabric of each of these curtains is still in very good condition for age. There are no major marks or stains and the fabric is still beautiful - Rating 8/10

EDGES: One edge of each curtain is faded and frayed but the other edge is good  - Rating 5/10

THE LININGS :The current linings need replacing - Rating 2/10 -
