Taken out of a fully functioning chech-K fat ps-3. I am parting out my unit. This unit would never read ps-2 disks. It reads ps-3,ps-1,Blue Ray, DVD and compact disk. Standard for this model. Comes with ribbon still attached I guarantee it to work. Make sure if you order you have the fat-phat body type ps-3. I do not think this will fit the slim models. These models will not read ps-2 games.
