You are looking at a 1947 Firestone Air Chief a.m. radio model 4-A-3.

This is one sturdy and strong unit!

I have re-stuffed the electrolytic capacitor to preserve authenticity. All of the weak caps and resistors have been replaced and the item has undergone a thorough alignment. Now it sings like a bird.

Reception may vary in your location and many factors can affect performance (ie: weather, availability of stations, home construction, etc). I make no guarantee as to the reception.

The front shows where part of the speaker grille suffered a break and the previous owner glued it back together slightly uneven (did not completely break off, just one end of the rib). I have pointed this out in the last picture.

The paint job is quite a bit worn but I decided to leave it up to the new owner whether they wanted to re-paint or leave it as-is.
Aside from the cracked rib, there are no other chips or cracks anywhere on this item.

Dial has a red flocked backing and the dial needle and face are in great condition!

As the pictures show, this radio is clean inside and ready to play or just keep on the shelf as a terrific addition to your collection.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have before bidding. I do not want an unsatisfied customer!

Don't miss out folks!

I will pack this radio in a slightly oversized box to keep it safe from the Ace Ventura's out there in the delivery business.

Shipping will be via UPS ground or FedEx Ground to the lower 48 states only. No international and no PO or APO boxes. Cost of shipping is determined by your location, package size and weight which I have no control over.

I will ship this item within 1 business day of received payment.

Due to the increasing cost of shipping supplies, I charge a 2 dollar handling fee on all my sales. Thanks for understanding.

Local pickup is always welcome within 10 miles of Lady Lake, FL.

As always; Thanks for checking out another great olivabibargain!
