This gorgeous 1960s German translation of 2 classic Trygve Gulbranssen novels Beyond Sing the Woods (Und Ewing Singen Die Wälder)

and The Inheritance of Björndal (Das Erbe von Björndal) appears unread. The cover is spectacular. The only signs of age and prior ownership I can find are the slightest scuffs on the leather spine, discoloration to the closed page edges, and, delightfully - tucked within the pages - dated receipts in German from 1969. Assuming for books, but I don’t read German!
