54 years ago, almost to the day, this triple Lp set was released as a companion to the Woodstock documentary film. Here is a first day of release white label promotional copy that was sent to radio stations and press outlets. Imagine the excitement when this iconic cultural item crossed the desk of these music professionals! The package is intact with no losses, tears, or major creases. There are corner dings, some bottom shelf wear, and small arcs of ring wear. The inside of the triple gatefold package looks nearly perfect. On the front cover, a “promotional copy” sticker, and another sticker warning radio stations to screen the music and spoken words for content not suited for airplay. The vinyls are in Excellent shape, shiny, with a few light marks that will not effect play. The white labels on the vinyls all have “sample copy not for sale” printed n them.
