ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Beautifully barely beginning to patina to the near new in color leather. There are a couple very tiny marks on the strap and ultra light water marks along the strap. This bag has only those minimal marks on the handle but overall the bag appears to only have been carried a handful of times. Beautiful, bright and VIBRANT canvas that is durable, yet lightweight, soft and very YUMMY! It is flawless canvas. No cracks or tears to leather or canvas. The corners look really great, I do not see any wear. The hanging tag leather looks superb and is free of wrinkles and cracks and wear. It looks brand new. I see a tiny scratch or two on the hardware of the hanging charm but that too looks near new. Protective coverings are still attached on the outside rivets and interior rivets! No scratches! The interior looks excellent used condition but does have minimal wear. Some small pen marks in and near one center slip pocket. The interior photos were taken with the flash on so wear is more noticeable than regular looking natural light. The fabric also looks more worn in the photos with the flash on due to the Alcantara lining has that way about it, like carpet, if you touch it it leaves a mark, if you brush it away or smooth with you hand the mark goes away. I hope that makes sense this lining is different than regular canvas lining. More luxurious! This bag is so amazing! Some one buy it before I keep it. These are so hard to come by now.
But wait, what does it smell like? I am so glad you asked. I deliberately and intentionally sat down and sniffed this handbag so that I could describe anything I smell to you.
SCENT:
This handbag has a used handbag scent. To me I smell “closet” smell or a “storage” type scent. It smells like it has been stored securely for a while and it needs to go out on the town and have some fresh air. I can also smell leather and canvas but the “closet/storage” scent is what I am picking up the most. It is an unremarkable smell and typical of a used Louis Vuitton handbag of this age and with this amount of wear. It does not smell bad to me. It smells about as you would expect a used handbag to.
