A George V period hallmarked silver albert chain with a silver fob, watch winder and silver T-bar attachment. Everything is by the same maker: Henry Allday & Son, Birmingham. The chain, etc is dated 1919 and the fob a little later, 1924.

Total weight approx 33g, folded length of the main chain approx 18.5cm excluding the various attachments and clasp.

Condition: The chain has the lion stamped to all of the links, though some are understandably rubbed and some have the maker's mark stamped on them too. The short link to the fob is unmarked but tests as 925. The hallmarks on the clasp and T-bar match and are all clear. The fob hallmarks are clear. The lobster clasp works perfectly. The fob is unassigned. The winder is not silver as would be expected.
