Rare Antique 1800s Chinese "Wang Hing" Mother of Pearl & Silver Banquet Tazza

A stunning antique Mother of Pearl Shell & Silver Bamboo Banquet Tazza Centerpiece by Wang Hing, China

This impressive tazza or sweetmeats stand comprises of a large mother-of-pearl shell affixed to a thicket of silver bamboo canes, all in finely cast and engraved silver

The shell is attached to the silver bamboo canes beneath by a silver screw

This would have been a presentation piece

Wang Hing was a firm that was active in Canton and Hong Kong in the last quarter of the nineteenth century and first quarter of the twentieth century
