ELVIS PRESLEY – FOR LP FANS ONLY (LSP-1990) RARE COVER VARIETY with SAME PHOTO ON BOTH SIDES!

RECORD: G+ showing numerous light scuffs and scratches, none of which can be felt with the fingertip. Expect some audible “ticks”, especially in softer areas of the music. There should not be any skips or repeats, however. The “White Top” labels on this Indianapolis pressing are without any stickers or writing but show some light to moderate wear.

COVER: VG+ RARE cover variety with the same photo on both sides! This error is sporadically encountered with this album and it is unknown as to why or how these came to be manufactured in this manner. It is the same photo on both sides, but the slicks pasted on the cover are cut differently in order to fit. On the “normal” and more commonly seen examples, a photo of Elvis wearing his Army uniform is on the back side. As for the condition, the lower seam is beginning to split. The spine as well as the upper and lower edges show some light to moderate wear, including some tiny breaks in the paper along the spine. A check mark made by a ball-point pen is seen to the upper left corner on the front. Some light ring wear is noticed on both sides. Overall, a clean, attractive error cover! The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40B) inner sleeve is included. Some edge splitting as well as a few tears are noticed.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to best protection.
