On offer is this fine antique Moser chatelaine perfume bottle dating circa 1880. This scent bottle has an oval drop shape and is made of stunning true cranberry glass decorated all over with hand applied, raised enamel decoration with gilt panels at the centre of the front and back. This antique perfume bottle is fitted with a gilt metal collar and hinged lid with pretty engraved decoration to the top. Attached to the collar is the original suspensory beaded chain and engraved ring so that the bottle could be hung from a chain or chatelaine.
This antique perfume bottle measures a 5.5 cm in length (excluding the attached chain). It is offered in very good condition with no chips, cracks or fractures to the glass body or neck and the inner glass stopper is also undamaged. The lid fits firmly and securely and has a slight ding to the top of the lid. There is no wear to the enamel and gilt decoration. Thank you for your interest.
