This vintage hardcover book, titled "Farmer Giles of Ham” is a first edition published in 1950 by Houghton Mifflin in the United States.

While there are a few flaws this book is a very nice survivor since its publication in 1950. This is a charming children’s story that one can recite to their own children.

The dust jacket has a few small tears. However the jacket is also quite bright and the colours are still quite vibrant.

There are no written names or inscriptions. The interior is very clean. This would make a great addition to a Tolkien collection.
