A fabulous quality antique longcase grandfather clock brass dial and birdcage movement made by Peter Boner of Red Lench ( now known as Redlynch ), dating from the 18th century, for spares or repair.

The dial has decorative spandrels on each corner, an arched top with a central roundel with an eagle and the motto Tempus Fugit ( time Flies ) and Roman numerals. It has a birdcage movement complete with bell.

The dial measures 43.5cm high x 31cm wide and the clock is 11cm deep.

The hands are broken, otherwise it’s all in genuine antique condition, please see all photos as it is being sold as spares or repair.

This would make a great addition to any antique clock collection, perfect for restoration.
