 very sought after Wade Irish porcelain figurine
- in 2014, the Wade Collectors Handbook valued the "Tailor and Cottage on Irish Base" at $150 to $230 (US) or $190 to $293 (CDN)
- features a thatched cottage with a little elfish tailor, who resembles a lucky leprechaun, sitting out front
- the tailor appears to be darning a tiny yellow polka dot sock
- base is roughly in the shape of Ireland
- this hand painted figurine was made in County Armagh, Ireland
- glaze in lovely condition; high gloss finish
- very good vintage condition; no chips, cracks, repairs; some crazing
- marked on bottom "Shamrock Pottery Made in Ireland by Wade of Armagh"
- size: 5 1/2 inches by 4 1/4 inches by 2 1/2 inch
