3 VARIATIONS OF HOT WHEELS SOL-AIRE CX-4 LOOSE 1st is a 1984 Silver Ultra Hot, 2nd is #739, a 1998 Yellow version from the flyin’ aces sub-series, and 3rd is a White 2000 that was a Criss Cross Crash track set exclusive.


1st is one of the three original Silver 1984 castings of Sol-Aire with the raise Malaysia country of manufacture. Loose Metal Flake Silver 1984 Version Of Hot Wheels Sol-Aire CX4 with opening rear hood. Diecast Body and Base.

Tampos-1) Red “ULTRA HOTS” on the hood 2) Red, yellow, and orange pinstriping on the roof and rear spoiler. The Windscreen is Black. The Raised Malaysia Base is unpainted metal. Rims are “Chrome” Ultra Hot Rims. Rolls very poorly. The front passenger side wheel is locked up so it pulls horrible right a little.


2nd is a Yellow 1998 (this was after the retooling of the rear spoiler). Mainline #739 from the Flyin’ Aces sub-series. Loose Yellow 1998 Version Of Hot Wheels Sol-Aire CX4 with opening rear hood. Tampos are mostly worn off. Tampos-1) Black, Red, Silver and White WWII era Fighter plane design 2) Red Hot Wheels Logo on the passenger side, 3) black stripes on the rear spoiler. The Windscreen is Clear. The Malaysia Base is black plastic. Rims are “Chrome” 5 spoke. Rolls surprisingly well and straight.


3rd is a “hard to find” White 2000 (this was after the retooling of the rear spoiler). The was an exclusive to the Criss-Cross Crash Track play set. (Just to be clear this auction is for the car only from that play set.) Loose White 2000 Version Of Hot Wheels Sol-Aire CX4 with opening rear hood. Tampos-1) A white number 6 with Orange outline on a black background on the hood, 2) Black, silver, and orange graphics and a white number 6 on the sides 3) Orange Hot Wheels Logo on the passenger side. The windscreen is Clear. The Malaysia Base is black plastic. Rims are “Chrome” triangular three spoke. Rolls surprisingly well but pulls slightly left.


Condition is used. All three have chips in the paint. All three show signs of playwear. 1) the silver version is in poor condition. The Tampos is partially worn off in spot. Some of the “silver” on the ultra hot rims is missing. The passenger side of the rear spoiler is bent. 2) the yellow version is in okay condition. The Tampos is worn off in most spots. The “silver” on the rims is dull. 3) the white version is in okay condition. Tampos is worn in spots.
