A Tri-Ang OO gauge British Railways Bo-Bo Class 77 EM2 "Woodhead Electric" locomotive number 27006 in early electric blue livery with grey roof and small yellow end panels. It has red-backed nameplates and the late BR crest on the sides.

The model features twin operating pantographs, both or either of which can be used for power collection if required and there's a sliding switch on the roof to select power source. The pantographs are in very good condition and move into the deployed or stowed positions easily and stay in place with a good, positive spring action.

The loco is in excellent condition overall with some loss to the white pin-striping to the sides (see photos). It is fully intact with all buffer heads, coupling hooks, pantographs etc in place.

On the track, it has a bogie-mounted motor, which operates well and it runs in both directions but there is a short circuit somewhere on the motor pick-ups when the motor swivels when the power bogie leads into right curves so it needs some electrical attention.

It is unboxed but will be well packed for protection in the post.
