Exquisite woodwork and a beautifully shaped, concaved tray shaped surface that can function as a bowl, characterise this Danish collectable. The sculptor Jens Harald Quistgaard worked with solid wood, often glueing cut blocks together before carving the individual components. He achieved the tray’s round motif by using various layers and multiple grain structures, making the piece both decorative and incredibly sturdy.
