Been a great car but does have a couple of bad points 

The tail gate has a rust hole where the numberplate light is, a few on eBay for good value 

the dsg box has a rattle in reverse drive and sport but doesn't affect the driving still pulls well and has good economy 

The drivers passenger rear door window has released from the regulator 

Has had In my ownership (no service book came when I bought it):

timing belt 

water pump

Rear main oil seal 

Sump gasket 

Oil and filters

Dsg oil and filter 

Daul mass flywheel

Brakes all round 

Light bar comes with or can be removed 

Still in use for 30 mile commute to work so milage will go up
