This wonderful, Lagloriette, Limoges box is a 22KT gold framed, Toulouse-Lautrec painting, of famed Moulin Rouge, can-can dancer, Louise Weber, wearing black gloves and a red dress with white dots, holding a mirror. A headliner at the cabaret, she was affectionately nicknamed "La Goulue" (the glutton), because she would pick up customer's glasses and drink from them, as she danced by. A circle is the clasp. Inside is "La Goulue d'apres Toulouse-Lautrec" in brown script and a hand mirror. It is 1.8" by 2.5" with a height of 1". "Peint Main - Limoges France - Lagloriette" is on the bottom.
