In this listing we have a really nice doll outfit. This doll outfit was released by Mattel as part of the Barbie Extra line and originally came with the 4th doll in the line. You will get everything the doll was wearing. There’s a dark blue satin sweatshirt with printed details, an orange lining, and a working white plastic zipper, a tie dye t-shirt with a sheen on it, a pair of white cut off shorts with an intentionally frayed hem, a pair of bright yellow sneakers, a bright yellow plastic fanny pack, a yellow pair of headphones, a pair of silver chrome aviator style sunglasses, a silver plastic chunky bracelet, a silver chrome bracelet, a pink plastic wristwatch, a yellow plastic necklace, and a black plastic skateboard with pink wheels and printing on top that says “Malibu”. This outfit is designed for dolls with the “Curvy” body and the shoes will fit dolls with the “Curvy” or “Tall” flat foot mold. The shirt and shorts close in the back with Velcro, the bracelets and necklace are all open to go on the doll, the shoes have a slit in the back to help go on the doll’s feet, and the fanny pack has a post and openings in the back to go on the doll. This outfit was made in Indonesia. My pictures came out a little saturated. The colors are a bit more muted in person.

This doll outfit is in good shape. It has never been played with and was just removed from the box. It does have some factory related issues. The jacket is in good shape. It is a little wrinkled from how it was posed in the box. There are some excess threads at the top and bottom of the front opening and at the cuffs from the side seams. The side seams are a little uneven at the cuffs, one side is a little longer compared to the other. Mattel used some small plastic tabs on both sides of the front of the jacket to hold it in the box. This left some small holes in the jacket. You can also see some white from the underside of the jacket in those spots. The shirt is in good shape. It has excess threads in the back where the Velcro is sewn on. There’s also excess threads at the armholes from the side seams. The sleeves are built into the main body of the shirt. The side seam is a little puckered, mostly at the armpits, from that. That’s a pretty common issue for construction like this. The side seams at the sleeves are a little uneven with one side a little longer compared to the other. The shirt is covered in these little shiny dots that are printed on the fabric. I’m not sure how they will age. They could crack and peel off over time. I would be careful with them, they might start looking more worn with lots of use. The shorts are in good shape. They have excess threads in the back where the Velcro is sewn on and at the side seams at the cuffs. There is a seam going down the front of the shorts that ends a little bit before the inseam, there is a thread coming off from that seam. There are some longer threads at the frayed at the pant legs. The side seams at the sides of the pants are a little uneven with one side a little longer compared to the others. There are some holes at the waistband in the front from those plastic tabs used to hold them in place at the factory. The white fabric is a bit thin and slightly sheer. The fanny pack is in good shape. It does have seam lines and mold injection spots. There is some excess plastic in a few spots along the seam lines. There are some molded in lines here and there to it. The zipper detail on it is painted. There is some small painting flaws on it. It’s not terrible, but there’s a couple spots where the paint is a little thin and around the edge of the painted section the paint isn’t as crisp as it could be. I would be careful about the closure in the back. The openings have to stretch to let the post in and they could stretch out and tear over time with use. The post could also start to tear from the pressure of being used. Everything looks find, it’s more of a caution when using it. The shoes are in good shape. They have seam lines and mold injection spots. There is some excess plastic along the seam lines. I would be careful with staining. The shoes actually stained the clear elastics holding them in place in the box. They might stain doll’s feet over time. There is some small surface flaws here and there on the shoes. It’s very minor, but when looking closely you can see some small imperfections on the surface. The headphones, the necklace, the watch, and the silver bracelet look good. They all have seam lines and mold injection spots. There is some excess plastic along some of the seams. There are some small molded lines and molding flaws to the headphones, mostly on the sides. It’s pretty minor, but when looking closely at them you can see some small issues on the surface. On the necklace there are some mold injection spots on the side that are a little noticeable and slightly rough. They look sharp enough to snag clothing or hair. I would be careful with it. The plastic used for the necklace and the watch is on the thinner side, so I would be careful with bending them since it could be easier to bend or break them. The silver chromed bracelet and sunglasses are in good shape. They also have seam lines and mold injection spots. There is some excess plastic along some of the seam lines. The chrome on the glasses is a bit sloppy and in some spots the chrome is thicker compared to others. There is some small scratches here and there to the chrome. The underside of the glasses arms and the opening of the bracelet has a spot of missing chrome on each side. This is where they held the items when they added the chrome paint, all of the items will have that same missing spot of chrome. The plastic is slightly thin, I would be careful with them since it could be easy to bend or warp them. I would also be careful bending them since it could cause the chrome paint to flex and come off. The skateboard is in good shape. It also has seam lines and mold injection spots. There is some excess plastic along the seam lines. The images on the top is a little pixilated and slightly blurry in spots. There are some small scratches and scuffs here and there. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this outfit and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
