In this listing we have a super cute, but somewhat TLC vintage doll dress. This doll dress was released by Mattel in the 1960s as part of the Barbie line. It was sold as part of two different outfits, Sunday Visit and On the Avenue. This dress has a sleeveless bodice made from a shiny gold fabric with an attached straight skirt made from a cream colored fabric with woven in gold threads. This dress closes in the back with a metal zipper. This dress is designed to fit the vintage Barbie body and will fit similar sized dolls. This dress does not have a tag. This dress was made in Japan. My pictures came out a little saturated, the colors are a bit more muted in person.

This dress is in good, but slightly TLC shape. It has been played with and has some issues. I have washed the dress, but it could use a more in depth cleaning. The bodice is in fair shape. There are a few spots where the gold threads and some clear threads had come undone from the fabric are are poking out. The gold threads are more obvious. The side seams at the tops of the armholes are visible at the arm holes. At the back along the neckline the inside hem of the dress is slightly visible at the back. The dress skirt is more TLC. There is a large black stain to the left hip, this stain is slightly on the gold top too. There is also several large tan colored stains to the skirt. The most obvious one is on the same side as the black stain, but there’s stains on the right side and a few other places too. The fabric for the skirt is quite … fuzzy. It’s not snags, but the fabric is worn slightly. The bottom hem is slightly uneven and goes lower on the left side compared to the right. Zipper works well without any issues. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this doll dress and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
