In this listing we have a really cute vintage doll outfit. This outfit I believe is homemade from the 1960s, but I could be wrong. It consists of a blue knit sweater with white and red detailing and a pair of white short pants. This outfit is being modeled by a vintage Skipper to give an ides of the size of the outfit. The doll shown is not included. The sweater doesn’t have any openings, so has to go over the doll’s head (and that is kinda tricky to do) and the pants have an elastic waist. They are kind of bulky at the waist, so they might be better on a doll with a larger waist. My pictures came out a little saturated, the colors are a bit more muted in person.

This doll outfit is in good shape. It has been played with, but not overly so. I have not attempted to wash either piece. The sweater is in good shape. It is pretty linty. The yarn is a little fuzzy all over. This is most obvious at the white detailing where the white and red parts almost look to slight bleed into each other. There is some spread fibers at the chest area. I don’t see any holes, but the yarn is a little spread out in spots. There is some sloppy stitch work in the back where the seam is stitched shut. The pants are in good shape. They are a bit dingy looking. There are some excess threads in the back at the waistband on the inside and at both of the leg holes from the side seams. The side seams are a little sloppy and uneven with one side a little longer compared to the other. The left side seam is coming undone at the bottom. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this doll outfit and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.

This listing is for the sweater and pants alone, the doll shown is NOT included.
