Vintage pair of Art Deco slip shade sconces.  Made by the famous VIRDEN co., maker of fine, quality lighting fixtures in the Art Deco period.

These sconces were in the 'Rayburn' line of Virden's lighting fixtures. Please see the photo in reference.

The sconces are a beautiful original regal Gold finish, with very Deco geometric/angular designs mixed with lovely Floral designs in the central part of the metal.

The shades coloring is a Goldish-Amber, and just awesome when illuminated ~ giving a warm amber glow to the room.

The shades have no chips or cracks, only the typical minor fleabites from being inserted into the frames - - Not seen when installed.

Very nice for around 90 years old.

The sconces have been rewired, with new On/Off switches, and in proper working order.

Also included are the mounting hardware - bolts and cross bars.

The sconces measure 9.5" tall, 6.5" wide.

This is a magnificent set of wall fixtures sure to add Old World beauty to any room.
