Up for sale is an Antiquarian Miniature German Children's Catechism Book. Circa 1848.
The book has leather front and back covers with a patterned spine cover. I don't know much about it, through translation I'm able to tell that it is a religious catechism book meant for children. I can't figure out the translated name of the publisher and publication place other than it looks like "G Chippach, Pennf. / Oedrudtbei T. M. Gchunemann."
The front cover is separated from the book and is held on by just a few strands. The covers have a lot of wear and abrasions and the pages have a lot of wear, discoloration and small rips/tears from age and use. Overall it would be a good copy to own to use and look through.
Measurements are approximately:
4 5/8" x 3 1/8"
7/16" Thick.
