Outstanding Native American Beaded Pouch.
Striking and very detailed beading.
2 separate distinct patterns on each side of the bag.
I understand the one side is the sacred cross of the Apache, and the other is a Starburst Sacred Cross.
Both very stunning, elaborate detail and many colors of beads.
Leather is extremely soft and supple.

I am not sure if it is a medicine bag, a war paint bag, an implement bag or for other use.
The pouch is nicely beaded and in very good condition with light wear and staining.
The beads are all nice and tight. There are a couple areas where some appear to be missing - 2 or 3 fringes are shorter than the others, and along the edges on both sides of the bag there is some variation in the pattern, suggesting some missing beads. See photos

Measures about 10" long x 6" wide PLUS the fringe beads are an additional 5.5" - making the total length nearly 16".

I was told it is likely Circa 1910-1930.  Sold from a private local collection, previously purchased in Arizona, no additional provenance known.
