Genuine British currency; twelve-sided coin, made from brass; with new pink organza gift bag. This coin ceased to be legal tender in August 1971.
Diameter of coin: 2.1cm; gift bag: 6 .5cm x approx 4.8cm
The front shows the head of King George VI, surrounded by moulded lettering reading “Georgivs VI D:G:BR:OMN:REX F:D:IND:IMP.”
The back reads “Three pence”, with a three-headed thrift plant.
Condition: Coin circulated, with indentations/superficial scratching, rubbing, and a few small darkened areas, consistent with normal use; cleaned with soap. Please see photos. The gift bag is new.
