Thank you for looking.

I have been listing this item now for well over 3 years; many ebayers view it, and just as many watch it.  However, now there are more important things in life than ebay.  If it is not bought this time round then it will be disposed of, and the chance for anybody to add it to their collection will be lost for good.

This DM Modeles Lotus Elan Break has been part of my Lotus collection now for well over 35 years, and in all that time it has been lovingly stored.  It has never seen the light of day, and its condition certainly has not deteriorated.  For fear of this item being stored for a good many more years to come, it really has to find a new home.

Most of the kits in the early days were not offered for sale as factory built, and I believe that to be the case with this Lotus Elan Break.  With no xbox, internet or other computer games what better way to spend those dark winter evenings in making a model or 2!!

It does not appear to have a catalogue number.

Please study all the photographs carefully as they can best show the condition of this item (model and box, as there was never any instructions or decal sheet issued with this model) much better, and more concisely, than I could describe it.

All the ancillary parts are still in the original sealed plastic bag.

It comes from a pet-free, smoke-free and wife-free (whatever that should mean!) home.

Thank you for looking.

To enhance the buyer/seller experience, this item, as with most items that I send, will be insured.  The package, when delivered, will require a signature.  This eliminates most problems should the package get 'lost in the post'.

Please note that the price I quote you is not only the postage rate as charged by the chosen carrier plus the insurance cost, but also includes the commission charged by ebay, the commission charged by paypal, packaging, time taken to pack the item, time taken to travel to the Post Office, printing of labels etc.  If you do not agree with the cost I give you, then please DO NOT buy this item.  By buying the item you contractually agree to the price; so then leaving negative or inappropriate feedback simply because of the postage and packaging charge is both unethical and immoral; but I am afraid to say that is what some ebay buyers do these days!
