You are bidding on a great Viewfinder/Sidefinder for a Mitchell Cinema Camera made by the Michell Camera Corp (Of Glendale, CA).  The serial number is #2127 and I believe it dates to the 1940's. Mitchell made some of the best cinema cameras and have been used extensively in Hollywood on may famous films. It is Model AN.

This sidewinder was typically mounted on the side of a Mitchell 16MM camera. The finder's design is covered by many patents as seen on the plate attached to it. Looking through the finder you see a box in the center with a cross sight in the middle.

Condition is very good. There is some haze on the viewing end.
