Bevelled glass - removed and then not reinserted correctly so at a slight angle

Very heavy - clock weighs approx 975g

Back opens for battery insertion

Kienzle Quartz Germany inscribed on battery compartment

Tarnished on front and sides commensurate with age

No longer appears to be working.  The battery ticks if it is inserted into the battery compartment; the hands do not move round the clock face
