There is NO RESERVE on this rare and stunning antique 19th century FBS France hand painted porcelain gold gilt compote centerpiece bowl from San Francisco Estate.  Made in France by FBS (Ferdinand Bing & Co Successors).  Signed by artist, Brummel.  Circa 1800's.  It is truly exquisite!

This wonderful French centerpiece bowl has a young man and woman with a dog painted on the front. It looks like they are letting a bird free from a cage.  The ornate base, handles and top rim are made of gold gilt metal.  We were told that this porcelain used is possibly Sevres since Brummel was mainly working on that type of porcelain back then.

The overall measurement is 12" long, 9-3/4" tall, and 6" wide.  This awesome French bowl is made of porcelain with a glossy finish with gold overlay and a hand painted scene.  The colors are blue, gold pink, green, brown, red, white, and black.  It is signed "FBS, Hand Painted, Made in France" on the bottom, and "Brummel" on the front.  See pictures.  The condition is amazingly very good - shows wear but no chips, breaks, or repairs.   i

The estimated value was $450.00 according to the estate.  This fabulous French centerpiece bowl came from an estate in San Francisco, and is vintage.  It has a great look - very elegant and unique. Pictures don't do it justice.  It is truly a quality piece,  and would make a wonderful addition to someone's collection. Buyer pays shipping. Thank you for bidding.
