The Panamax MB850 can help prevent expensive lamp burnout in lamp based displays (cooling fan can continue to properly cool down lamp). It can help avoid the loss of DVR recordings due to a power outage, unsaved games in process on a game device, HT system power loss. The Panamax MB850 has 5 battery powered and surge protected outlets. It also has 4 surge protected outlets for devices not requiring battery power. There is a USB port to allow a PC to communicate with the Panamax MB850. It also protects a cable, satellite, or antenna connection, as well as an ethernet or phone connection. There is a fault indicator light and a resettable circuit breaker. It can shut down an attached pc. The MB850 LCD display can show input voltage level, output voltage level, AVR status meter, battery capacity, estimated runtime, load level, output power frequency. Additionally, icon indicators show on battery mode, overload condition, fault condition. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) stabilizes input voltage to an appropriate level for optimal equipment performance by completely eliminating brownouts and overvoltages.
