For sale is a Nintendo Game Boy Advance GBA model AGB-001, that has had everything around the original motherboard replaced with brand new parts all from FunnyPlaying, the list of new parts is as follows-

-3.0 inch black bezel backlit IPS laminated screen

-Clear red shell designed to use with the above screen for a perfect fit.

-USB-C lithium-ion rechargeable battery with matching clear red battery cover with the USB-C port cut out

-Orange buttons

-Emerald button pads

-Upgraded clear speaker (better sound)

The console works perfectly and still has the protective film on the screen for the new owner to take off and have a perfect condition screen. The upgraded screen brings new life into these consoles, that are hard to go back and use with a non lit screen. This is my preferred form factor for game boy with my larger hands, the GBA SP feels too cramped for me, so giving it a backlit screen makes it the perfect way to play GBA in 2024 in my opinion.

Here is the list of features/settings available to adjust with the touch sensor on the screen. Press and hold your finger on the screen (tap on the word “Game”) to bring up the menu, just tapping will adjust the currently selected option. Press and hold with the menu up to change to the next setting, and simply not touching the screen will make the menu go away after a few seconds-

-BRT- 15 levels of adjustable brightness from 1-15, 15 being the brightest

-CLR- 1 is the default color mode, 2 is highlight mode (increases brightness and contrast a bit), 3 is black and white, and 4 is the DMG palette, which is intended for use with original game boy games.

-DSP- 1 is the default, 2 turns on anti-aliasing which softens the image a bit, and 3 is pixel/scanline mode, which is meant to replicate the look of an old CRT TV.

-FRM- ON means frame blending is on, which will remove flicking with effects such as shadows in game. OFF turns this off.

Console only, no games or charger included. Will work with any standard USB-C cable and charger.
