This truly is a barn find. I found two old trains in my dad's barn in Louisiana. I brought them back to Oregon with me and wishing to sell them to someone that collects trains.  I don't know how to grade it and absolutely know nothing about restoration. I did my best to take a lot of pictures. There is nothing else other than what is in the pictures.
THIS TRAIN SET IS DEFINITELY USED. THE BEST PART IS ALL THE TRACK. THERE IS A LOT OF TRACK. EVERY PASSENGER CAR NEEDS WORK AND THE ENGINE NEEDS REPAIR. ITS OLD.
Please ask any questions you may have, I will be glad to answer them.
Go check out the other train I have here in eBay

This is from Google: Theodor Friedrich Wilhelm Märklin, a German tin smith, founded the toy company Märklin in 1859 in Göppingen, Baden-Württemberg. The company started out making dollhouse accessories and toys for girls, but is now best known for its model railroad toys in Z, HO, and G Scale. In 1891, Märklin invented the first mass market model train sets, and by the 1950s, model trains were the most popular toy for boys in the United States.
