Although not film tested this is a very good looking and functional Nikon S2 rangefinder camera with a relatively fast 5cm F1.4 chrome lens.
All the basic functions have been checked and the shutter speeds are all looking and sounding spot on.
The curtains are clean (except for three small marks - see photo 18) and move across correctly with no lagging or any other issues.
Slows speeds are also all correct.
Camera winds on and fires very smoothly.
There area few light cosmetic signs of use, notably a small dent bottom right (see photo 9) and some light scratches round the tripod mount. The top plate also has some fine scratches and there's a 1mm tiny dent by the serial number (which is 6137194).
Rangefinder spot is bright and accurate, rangefinder wheel moves correctly.
The viewfinder is bright and large. It is easy to compose and focus.
The camera is ready to use and should perform well.
The 5cm F1.4 lens is generally very good but there's some small scuff marks to front element (see photo 3) but nothing too bad and nothing that will effect the performance of this nice little lens.
Otherwise, no haze, no fungus, no other scratches.
Focus is smooth, aperture works fine and is clean.
Camera and lens should perform very, very well and the camera has an overall feeling of quality.
