Karrimor Elite Phantom (Vintage) Paclite Jacket Blue Size Medium

This is a genuine Karrimor (The great british Mountain Company) jacket manufactured in December 2002.
Purchased from the company when I was an employee and before the company was acquired by Sports Direct in 2003 and they lost their Gore-Tex licence.

I wore this jacket several trips out in 2003 and then put it in storage and haven't gone back to using it again.  I am currently unpacking a lot of stored equipment I've collected and couldn't believe It's been so long since I got this.

However! It was lightly used and as such the fabric shows little sign of use or wear.
The main zipper pull snapped in half but is still useable, a cord puller could be attached to make easier - see photos.  There is a white mark on the bottom hem of the jacket (rear) that has not washed out.

The jacket has been washed in Nikwax Tech Wash, dried and now packed in a clean new garment bag.

The jacket features a stiffened peaked hood and has volume adustment with drawcords.  There chest pockets are internally mesh fabric that can hold an OS map. I attached luminous yellow zip pulls to the pockets for ease, leaving these on the jacket.    Depending on your torso length this jacket may be a longer jacket for you - see sizing photo.

The jacket is a multi purpose trekking/fast light mountain jacket, kinda like a KIMM jacket but with slightly longer length.
The main zipper has a storm flap over it (unusual for jackets today) and the zipper is two-way to allow you to ventilate or adjust a harness etc.

This is a vintage piece but in good used condition and could be used for many years to come if looked after and repaired if needs be.

Any questions please ask, check the photos to see condition and some of the features mentioned I have tried to photo.
