PINK NYLON CHECKS DRESS from 1957 is made of sheer nylon in a candy color pink with a taffeta camisole. This summery dress appeared in both a boxed version and on a doll at Christmas in 1957. This box is stamped "21-50" and PINK. The dress is unusual because it has Val lace on the bodice and cuffs, and in particular is the only dress with Val lace on the Hem line, according to Kiley Ruwe Shawe, The Cissy Files. The box contains a package of heels, elastic unstretched, made by S.B. Novelty Co. and a white petticoat. The clothing appears unworn but the white of the slip is slightly aged looking from time spent in the box. A lovely vintage dress for Cissy. (No doll included).

The dress is not faded, but is stuffed with white tissue paper that makes it appear through the shear fabric. Also, the slip is underneath in the photos, adding a whiter appearance. Apologies for my poor photography!
