Meissen porcelain figure of a Canary, c. 1870. The bird modelled singing, whilst perched on a tree stump. His plumage well modelled, and coloured yellow.

Underglaze blue crossed swords marks, and model numbers to the bases.

Height – 10.5 cm, 4 2/8”.

Width – 11 cm, 4 1/4”.

Depth – 5 cm, 2”.

Condition – Repair to chip to the tree trunk, and tip of beak.
