Please read all of the following description and study the pictures carefully.

Up for auction is my old Rudi Altig ten speed racing bike from the mid 1970s.

This has been stored for many years and is listed as spares or repair, as will need work and parts to get it into shape.

Has a new chain as the old one was seized solid, tyres are aged but hold air and the bike is actually rideable.

Brakes and gears work but again will need a service to bring up to scratch.

The rear wheel has some loose spokes and the rim is dented and out of true.

Whole bike has plenty of "patina" and definitely a project or to use for spares.

Made in cold war era West Germany and

imported by Tensor Cycles of Darlington.

Named in honour of the late West German cycle racer (and all round nice chap) Rudi Altig.

Fitted with a rather nice pair of aluminium "shorty" mudguards.

It was my intention to restore this bike myself but other commitments mean it has to go.

Again listed as spares or repair due to the defects listed above.

If no takers will be stuck back in the shed for another 30 years...

Collection ONLY from near Norwich Norfolk UK NR15 area.

I am not under any circumstances going to pack this item for postage.
