Made in Occupied Japan indicates that the figurine was produced sometime between 1945 to 1952.

This Occupied Japan piece is a very lovely figurine that unfortunately has had it's right arm broken and purely repaired with old type glue. It was a smooth brake and went back together perfectly but the glue is showing around the brake. It has no other cracks, chips, or any fading of the hand-painted colors. I have dropped the price by $20.00 to sell at $36.91 as is! (see photo's) A beautiful piece with a unfortunate past!
