John Lennon Tributes from December 1980: Star, Globe and National Enquirer.



Here are three tabloid newspaper publications from late December 1980, all with covers and articles about John Lennon's death. All three items are in very good condition.

• Star, December 30, 1980. This 47-page publication also contains an entertainment look-back of the year 1980, Jeane Dixon's predictions for 1981, and much more.
   
• Globe, Volume 7 NO. 533, December 30, 1980. Front cover: "Outrageous life and death of a Beatle", and giant memorial poster. This is a 47-page publication.
   
• National Enquirer December 30, 1980. Front cover" "Exclusive John Lennon the Untold Story . . The last picture. A peaceful-looking John Lennon lies in repose at the New Your City Morgue as the world grieves over his shocking murder. This last photo of the famous Beatle was taken hours before his body was cremated." 47 pages.
