Description
This is a Dove by Orville by Gibson. Unlike the Hummingbird, which has a hummingbird on the pickguard, this model has a white dove, a symbol of peace. The face of the dove is said to change with the age of the instrument, but the dove on this model has a slightly dopey face. The side back and neck are made of maple instead of mahogany, and the long scale is also a feature, giving it a loud and hard sound. The pickups and preamp are stock and have immediate potential for live performance.
The frets are down to 7 minutes, but combined with the exterior that shows no sign of age, it can be said to be in beautiful condition. An external hard case is included.
