Beautiful Silver Plated Victorian Serpentine Card Case

A truly beautiful silver plated Victorian card case that has a beautiful serpentine design with beautifully engraved decoration & has a lovely circular belt strap cartouche that has been engraved with initials that i cannot decipher.

The card case was made around 1897 over 125

 years ago

Remains in excellent condition albeit 1 minor ding & a little loss of plating as you see in the pictures & the hinge to the card case works perfectly well
