Rare and delightful sideboard designed by Tom Robertson for A.H. Mcintosh of Kirkcaldy Scotland, with exceptional Danish inspired mid century clean design, fabulous sculpted teak door/drawer pulls and remarkable geometric sled legs. Highly decorative with great storage and display, with drop-down door drinks cabinet with a signature Mcintosh ’dry bar’ pull out drinks tray, and double cupboard doors opening to reveal fixed shelf, flanking bank of three spacious dovetailed pullout drawers, each with different depth, the middle one with red felt lining and removable dividers for flatware. True definition of stylish and functional. Great condition throughout with some signs of age and use through light scuffs and slight wear to the finish - see images.

McIntosh was known on the vintage market for their mid-century style furniture, particularly for teak cabinetry and sideboards. Founded in 1869 by Alexander Henry (A.H) McIntosh (1835-1919) in Kirkcaldy, Fife.
