Special Note Advisory For All Potential Buyers

The maximum torque rating for reverse is about 1350 foot pounds in reverse. Tool makers will exaggerate their torque output numbers to outdo other tool makers in my experience. You can reasonably expect about 1200 foot pounds of FORWARD POSITION torque output. This is because steel is being stretched to achieve final torque of a bolt or nut. It takes time and greater effort exerted by an impact wrench for forward position work. This is why torque wrenches and hydraulic Hy-Torque tools are used in industry now. Expecting any impact wrench to perform to the exact high torque values based on the wording that the manufacturer states requires 100% buyer/end user duplication of the same exact standards that the manufacturer used to establish their torque values.

This is a powerful tool but torque ratings stated by tool manufacturers can be misleading. I advise you to use the correct 1/2" Male NPT air plug and supply the tool with a 1/2" ID hose and 90 PSI at the tool with full throttle open position instead. This is indicated by the Ingersoll Rand user guide I pass through with the new in box tool I ship to you. I will operate my air tools at 100 PSI when I test them in my repair business.

This is an excellent heavy duty 3/4" drive tool by my observation. The anvil has a hole for a locking pin to retain sockets as well as a 2-piece, 3/4" retaining ring kit installed. The IR warranty is 2 years from IR Service Centers only on this tool. You can register your tool at IR.com after purchase. 

*This 3/4" drive tool can easily be converted to a 1" drive impact wrench with a simple anvil change. The 2155QiMAX anvil swaps directly and quickly into the tool. For $125 additional money and upon request I can add the 2155-A626 anvil to your ebay order either with an email BEFORE purchase.
