This is a California State Text Book from Central Elementary School

There are stories like: The Little House, by Valery Carrick; Good Thinking, by Eleanor M. Johnson; The Mouse Wedding, by Hans Christian Andersen and many others. This is a perfect little 1930s reader with charming illustrations.

It was used by many students so there are some tattered pages, and a few pages that are torn, but can be easily taped back together.  The pages are yellowing and some have pencil marks and perhaps some finger print smudges.
