A beautiful old rug with a Chinese pagoda in the middle, done in the traditional style of the time .

Antique Chinese carpet Early Art Deco c. 1890 Dark blue field with main ivory border. An earlier example of the influence of Art Deco on handmade Oriental rugs. Some loss at the ends as seen in the photos. Overall, even the pile is in very good condition. Natural dyes.
