This auction is for 'NUFF SAID #2, an obscure and rare 1972 Marvel fanzine that features the first published story by a young Dave Stevens. The story is entitled "Teran!" and is five full pages drawn and inked by Dave Stevens.

According to the Dave Stevens Checklist (link: The Dave Stevens Web Site: Checklist ) on the official Dave Stevens site, the earliest known published art of Dave Stevens is from 1971 in various fanzines.

To give an idea of how early this art is, Dave was born on July 29, 1955, so he was only 16 or 17 years old when this was published in 1972.  This art was drawn and published long before his first pro work began to appear later in the 1970s and is a phenomenal window into the formative years of this great artist.

Apart from the Dave Stevens story, this zine presents an in-depth analysis of the Spider-Man comic, an early interview with Mark Evanier who tells about his days hanging out with Jack Kirby, and an interview with Marv Wolfman writer of TOMB OF DRACULA.
